Choosing joy today and feeling so proud of our SDP dancers. From the adults jumping in and joining the fun to our dancers getting out there and shining, everyone brought something special to the day.

Watching people step outside their comfort zones, have fun, and make memories together is what it’s all about. ❤️

What a fun day at the Washington Summer Festival! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported SDP. Our dancers brought the energy, represented us well, and made us proud.

Special thanks to the Washington Chamber and the Summer Festival team. We always love partnering with them to create something the whole community can come out and enjoy. Seeing everyone together, having fun, and making memories is what it’s all about.

We’re proud to be a sponsor of the 43rd Annual Washington Summer Festival and we’d love to see our community come out and join the fun.

What started as an unexpected challenge has quickly turned into a reminder of how incredible and supportive our community truly is. 💛

After an unexpected venue closure, our team immediately began working to preserve the full “80s Neon Dreams” showcase experience our dancers have worked so hard for…and we are so excited to officially announce that the showcase has now been relocated and rescheduled!

Important Showcase Update 💛

Due to an unexpected facility issue at the Turnage Theatre requiring inspections and repairs, upcoming rehearsals and performances connected to our scheduled showcase have unfortunately been canceled at the venue.

While this situation is completely outside of our control, our team is already actively working behind the scenes to explore alternate venue and scheduling options so we can continue creating the beautiful showcase experience our dancers and families have worked so hard for.

We appreciate the patience, encouragement, flexibility, and support from our incredible community during this unexpected situation. Additional updates will be shared as plans develop.
