Big announcement.
After a lot of thought… we’re officially changing direction.
Haunting Media is no longer working with haunted attractions.
Starting today, we will only be creating content for:
🐶 dog grooming salons 🧁 cupcake shops 🧘 yoga studios
Same cinematic style. Same dramatic lighting. Same intensity.
Just… less screaming.

April Fools.
But honestly —
A lot of haunt marketing already looks like this.
Bright. Safe. Overexposed. Way too clean.
Haunts aren’t supposed to feel comfortable. They’re supposed to feel unpredictable.
If your content looks like it could sell cupcakes… it’s not doing your attraction any favors.
Dark matters. Mystery matters. What you don’t show matters.
Make it feel like a haunt again.

Most haunt promos get ignored. This is what stops the scroll.
Scroll. Scream. Repeat.
Make your attraction impossible to ignore this season. 👉 hauntingmedia.com

Most haunted attraction promos get ignored. Low quality, bad lighting, no story.
We create content that actually stops the scroll and drives people through your gates.

What you ordered… 😬 What you got… 🔥
Stop settling for average haunt promos.

If your promo isn’t making people stop scrolling… it’s not doing its job.
Let’s fix that. 🎃

Most haunt marketing is quietly killing the experience it’s supposed to sell.
I didn’t want to believe that either… until I saw a promo clip show exactly the right scene at the worst possible moment. 😬
Guests had already seen it. The scare was gone. They gave it away for free.
Here’s the part nobody really talks about:
Haunts run on anticipation, surprise, and the unknown. However, most marketing encourages you to display more, reveal more, and prove more.
That’s the trap.
Many vendors focus on filming what appears visually appealing on camera. Operators know what should never be shown.
That gap? It’s costing you reactions you can’t get back.
The shift that changed everything for us:
Market the feeling. Protect the scene.
One builds anticipation. The other gives the experience away before they even buy a ticket.
If you’re currently planning your upcoming season, this is worth thinking about. 🎃
👇 Have you ever had a piece of marketing accidentally spoil something for your guests?
