Joe Gitterman Sculpture

Joe Gitterman Sculpture Sails, knots, the movement of a dancer; these are the forms in motion that I attempt to replicate in my sculptures. Each sculpture is an original.

Similar works in a variety of materials, colors, and finishes may be commissioned with custom bases. Sculpting models in copper, wax or acrylic, Gitterman chooses to cast in bronze or fabricate in stainless steel. The surface texture and color of each piece accentuates features such as sensual form or the suggestion of dynamic movement. Whether rendered in clean, crisp stainless-steel, vibrant col

Looking back at my commission for a residence in Jupiter, Florida.

Drawing influence from my Poised series, this outdoor sculpture is made of patinated bronze, heavily hand waxed for protection from the environment. It measures 20 x 24 x 72” and is mounted on a 3’ stone base. Placed in an open courtyard, it can be viewed from most rooms in this private Florida residence. The work was featured in Palm Beach Illustrated magazine.
