DC Theatre Scene says "Check out Normal/Magic at MLK Library"!

About the q***r-lady sea-lion fruit-bat play's focus on LGBT women: "This show is a fun reminder that it should not be groundbreaking to present such characters, rather, that this should be our new theatrical norm."

Check out Normal/Magic at MLK Library. It’s rough around the edges and a bit unpolished, but that seems to add to its charm. It’s no spectacle. It’s nothing showy. It’s just the sort of piece that defines what I think a Fringe show should be.

Self-producing with a nonexistent company means that we here at Normal/Magic do everything ourselves. In this case, Natalie Ann Piegari made a prop Hermit crab enclosure for Magic for Beginners.

It seems that we have created such a vivid and lifelike world for our characters, that a complete stranger became concerned for the safety and well-being of Natalie's fictional hermit crab...

Come see this wonderful prop in action THIS SATURDAY at 1:45pm!
