من الثعلة إلى قنوات: حكاية وسام القاسم

وسام القاسم، من أبناء الثعلة والمهجّر منها، اختار أن يبدأ من جديد رغم الظروف الصعبة.

بخبرته في تصليح الدراجات النارية والسيارات، بدأ وسام من الصفر وأسّس «كراج الأصدقاء» في قنوات بالشراكة مع صديق له من القرية.

لكن حتى تأمين لقمة العيش من خلال العمل اليومي أصبح أكثر صعوبة. فبسبب قطع الطرق وصعوبة التنقل، يواجه وسام تحديات في تأمين قطع الغيار الأصلية اللازمة لإصلاح السيارات والدراجات النارية، ما يؤثر بشكل مباشر على عمله ودخله.

ورغم هذه التحديات، يواصل وسام عمله متمسكًا بمهنته وبحقه في بناء حياة مستقرة وكريمة.
From Thaala to Qanawat: Wessam Al-Qassem’s Story

Wessam Al-Qassem, originally from Thaala and displaced from his home, chose to start over despite the difficult circumstances.

With experience repairing motorcycles and cars, Wessam started from scratch and established “Friends Garage” in Qanawat with a friend from the village.

But even making a living through daily work has become increasingly difficult. Due to road closures and restrictions on movement, Wessam faces challenges obtaining original spare parts needed to repair vehicles and motorcycles, directly affecting his work and income.

Despite these challenges, Wessam continues to work, holding on to his profession and his right to build a stable and dignified life.

من قريةٍ منكوبة، حمل الفنان هادي أصلان ريشته بدل أن يستسلم للوجع، وكرّس وقته وجهده لرسم وجوه الشهداء، محاولاً أن يحفظ ملامحهم من الغياب والنسيان.
اليوم، يقيم هادي في شهبا، حيث يواصل رسالته الفنية والإنسانية، لتحوّل لوحاته وجوه الشهداء إلى ذاكرةٍ حاضرة، وقصةٍ لا ينبغي أن تُنسى.
هادي أصلان.. فنان يرسم الوجوه، ويحفظ الذاكرة.

From a devastated village, artist Hadi Aslan chose to pick up his brush rather than surrender to the pain. He dedicated his time and effort to painting the faces of the martyrs, seeking to preserve their features from disappearance and oblivion.

Today, Hadi lives in Shahba, where he continues his artistic and humanitarian mission. Through his paintings, he keeps the faces of the martyrs alive in our collective memory, telling stories that must never be forgotten.

جمعية المرأة حياة ـ Woman Is Life Association
(WILA) continues to implement its diverse programs and initiatives aimed at empowering women and strengthening their role in society through development, social, and awareness-raising activities that respond to the needs of target groups and contribute to sustainable development.

During the past period, the Association conducted training courses, workshops, and community events focused on capacity building, skills development, and raising awareness. It also launched initiatives aimed at promoting community participation and volunteerism, while supporting women across various fields.

The Association reaffirms its commitment to continuously developing its programs and expanding its partnerships to better serve the community, in line with its mission to create a positive and sustainable impact and to strengthen the role of women as active partners in development.

في قرية قنوات، بدأ الشاب ضياء شلهوب مشروعه برأس مال متواضع، واضعًا أمامه هدفًا بسيطًا: أن يبني مصدر رزق مستقر له ولأسرته.

ومع الوقت، وبفضل إصراره وعمله المتواصل، بدأ ضياء بتطوير مشروعه وتوسيعه تدريجيًا، حتى أصبح اليوم مصدر دخل لـ ثلاث أسر تعمل في المحل.

لكن الطريق لم يكن سهلًا. فالمشروع يواجه تحديات يومية، أبرزها صعوبة تأمين المواد الأساسية اللازمة للعمل، وفي مقدمتها المحروقات والغاز، إلى جانب الانقطاعات المتكررة في توفر بعض مستلزمات الإنتاج.

ورغم هذه الصعوبات، يواصل ضياء العمل والتطوير، مؤمنًا بأن المشاريع الصغيرة قادرة على أن تكون نقطة انطلاق حقيقية نحو الاستقرار الاقتصادي، ليس لفرد واحد فحسب، بل لعدة عائلات

In the village of Qanawat, young entrepreneur Diaa Shalhoub started his business with modest capital, driven by a simple goal: to build a stable source of income for himself and his family.

Over time, through determination and continuous hard work, Diaa gradually developed and expanded his business, which today provides a source of income for three families working at the shop.

But the journey has not been easy. The business faces daily challenges, most notably the difficulty of securing essential supplies needed for its operations, particularly fuel and gas, along with recurring shortages of other production materials.

Despite these challenges, Diaa continues to work and develop his , believing that small businesses can serve as a genuine starting point toward economic stability not only for one individual, but for several families.

لم تكن حياكة الكروشيه بالنسبة لميساء قطيش مجرد هواية، بل تحولت إلى مساحة للإبداع، ولغة تعبّر بها عن شغفها، ومصدر رزقٍ يمنحها الاستقلال ويثبت أن العمل اليدوي يحمل في تفاصيله قيمة كبيرة.

ألقى السيد جيسون رابرت كلمة خلال الإحاطة في الكونغرس الأمريكي، أعلن خلالها قرار الرابطة الوطنية للمشرعين المسيحيين (NACL) الداعي إلى الاعتراف بالإبادة الجماعية المرتكبة بحق الدروز.

وتُعد الرابطة من أبرز التجمعات التشريعية في الولايات المتحدة، إذ تضم 41 فرعًا في مختلف الولايات الأمريكية، إضافة إلى فرع مجلس الشيوخ برئاسة السيناتور تيد كروز، وفرع مجلس النواب برئاسة عضو الكونغرس مارلين ستوتزمان.
