أمام الأمم المتحدة، وقف ممثلو Druze Nexus إلى جانب أبناء السويداء، رافعين صوتهم رفضًا لما يجري، وتذكيرًا بما شهده أبناء السويداء من مجازر وانتهاكات.

‏هذه الوقفة كانت رسالة واضحة بأن ما حدث في السويداء لا يمكن تجاهله، وأن أصوات الضحايا والناجين وعائلاتهم يجب أن تُسمع.

تحدثنا باسم منظمة Druze Nexus وباسم أبناء السويداء، وطالبنا بالعدالة، وحماية المدنيين، ومحاسبة المسؤولين عن الانتهاكات وأكد نا على حق أبناء السويداء في تقرير مصيرهم.

From a simple piece of wood, Nadim Al-Safadi creates a story of his own.

From the village of Hout in Swaida, Nadim chose to turn his passion and creativity into a project specializing in handcrafted wooden utensils and artistic gifts, creating pieces that bring together the natural beauty of wood and the spirit of traditional craftsmanship.

A project that began as an idea and grew through passion and determination, proving that creativity can transform the simplest materials into pieces with artistic value and a unique soul.

من قطعة خشب بسيطة… يصنع نديم الصفدي حكاية مختلفة.

من قرية حوط في السويداء، اختار نديم أن يحوّل شغفه وإبداعه إلى مشروع لصناعة الأواني الخشبية والهدايا الفنية، مقدّماً أعمالاً تجمع بين جمال الخشب وروح الحرفة اليدوية.

مشروعٌ بدأ بفكرة، وكبر بالشغف والإصرار، ليؤكد أن الإبداع قادر على تحويل أبسط المواد إلى قطعٍ تحمل قيمةً فنيةً وروحاً خاصة.

Over the course of an entire week, Nova Gallery in the city of Swaida hosted the “This Is Swaida” festival, creating a space that brought together poetry, music, and visual art.

The festival featured a diverse program of poetry and music evenings, along with live painting sessions held throughout the event. It concluded with an art exhibition showcasing works by a selection of Swaida’s leading artists.

“This Is Swaida”… a festival that sought to present the true face of Swaida its artistic, cultural, and creative spirit affirming that this city has another story to tell: one expressed through words, played through music, and painted in color.
على مدى أسبوع كامل، احتضنت صالة «نوفا غاليري» في مدينة السويداء مهرجان «هذه هي السويداء»، في مساحة جمعت الشعر والموسيقى والفن التشكيلي.

تنوعت فعاليات المهرجان بين الأمسيات الشعرية والموسيقية، والرسم الحي الذي رافق أيامه، ليُختتم بمعرض فني جمع أعمال نخبة من كبار فناني السويداء.

«هذه هي السويداء»… مهرجان أراد أن يقدّم وجه السويداء الحقيقي؛ وجهها الفني والثقافي والإبداعي، ويؤكد أن لهذه المدينة حكاية أخرى تُروى بالكلمة، وتُعزف بالموسيقى، وتُرسم بالألوان.

اليوم، قدّمت Druze Nexus نداءً إنسانيًا وحقوقيًا عاجلًا إلى الأمم المتحدة وعدد من أبرز المنظمات الدولية الإنسانية والحقوقية والإعلامية، بشأن الأزمة المستمرة في السويداء.

تدعو رسالتنا إلى تحرك دولي فوري لحماية المدنيين، وضمان وصول المساعدات الإنسانية بشكل آمن ودون عوائق، وإعادة تأمين الكهرباء والمياه، وإيصال الغذاء والوقود والأدوية، ودعم المستشفيات، وضمان وصول آمن إلى التعليم، إلى جانب المراقبة والتحقيق المستقلين في الانتهاكات المستمرة.

وقد أُرسل النداء إلى عدد من المنظمات والمؤسسات، من بينها:

• الأمم المتحدة ومكتب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة
• مكتب مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان (OHCHR)

رسالتنا واضحة:

يجب ألّا تُستخدم المساعدات الإنسانية بأي شكل من الأشكال كورقة ضغط سياسية أو عسكرية. ويجب أن يتمكن المدنيون من الوصول الآمن إلى المياه والكهرباء والغذاء والدواء والرعاية الصحية والتعليم والمساعدات الإنسانية.

نحن ندعو إلى انخراط دولي فوري، ومراقبة مستقلة، وحماية للمدنيين، ومساءلة عن الانتهاكات المرتكبة من جميع الأطراف.

لقد تحمّل أهالي السويداء خسائر هائلة، ونزوحًا وانعدامًا للأمان، وتعطّلًا في الخدمات الأساسية.

لا يجوز ترك السويداء وحيدة في صمت.

عبدالله عبد السلام... بين ذاكرة الحضارة وأسئلة المستقبل

بين ذاكرة الحضارات القديمة وأسئلة المستقبل، يقدّم الفنان عبدالله عبد السلام اللبناني الجنسية والمقيم في السويداء، نحو 58 عملاً فنياً ضمن معرضه المقام في نوفا غاليري.

تتناول أعماله العلاقة بين الماضي والحاضر والمستقبل، مستحضراً تاريخ الحضارات القديمة في محاولة لطرح سؤال بصري: كيف كنا قبل خمسة آلاف عام، أين نحن اليوم، وإلى أين نمضي؟
ويولي عبد السلام الثقافة البصرية أهمية كبيرة، باعتبارها من أسرع أشكال التعبير وصولاً إلى المتلقي، فيما يحضر المسرح، ولا سيما المسرح الصامت، بشكل واضح في لوحاته، من خلال التركيز على تفاصيل ونقاط بصرية محددة تحمل الفكرة.
ورغم مشاركاته في معارض عالمية عدة، يصف الفنان هذا المعرض بالاستثنائي، لأنه يُقام في بلده وبين أبناء بلده، معتبراً أن الإقبال اللافت يعكس الحضور الفني والثقافي الذي تتميز به محافظة السويداء.

Abdullah Abdulsalam… Between the Memory of Civilization and the Questions of the Future

Between the echoes of ancient civilizations and the questions of tomorrow, Lebanese artist Abdullah Abdulsalam, who lives in Swaida, presents nearly 58 artworks at Nova Gallery.

His works explore the relationship between the past, the present, and the future, drawing inspiration from the history of ancient civilizations to pose a profound visual question: Who were we five thousand years ago? Where are we today? And where are we heading?

Abdulsalam places great importance on visual culture as one of the most immediate forms of expression, while theatre, particularly silent theatre, has a strong presence in his paintings. Through carefully chosen visual details and focal points, his works invite the viewer to discover the idea behind the image.

Despite having participated in numerous international exhibitions, the artist describes this exhibition as exceptional, not only because it is held in his homeland, but because it brings his art before his own people. The remarkable public response, he says, reflects the rich artistic and cultural presence that distinguishes Swaida.

أمل مقلد.. الفن يتحول إلى مشروع

خريجة معهد الفنون، بدأت أمل مقلد مشروعها في صناعة الشموع المعطرة ومنتجات الكونكريت، بعد أن التحقت بدورة لتعلّم صناعة الشموع برفقة والدتها.

تنتج أمل قطعًا مناسبة للهدايا في أعياد الميلاد والتخرج والمناسبات الخاصة، وتسعى اليوم إلى تطوير مشروعها والاستمرار فيه، إلا أنها بحاجة إلى الدعم المادي والمعنوي.

Amal Maqlad: Turning Art into a Small Business

A graduate of an Institute of Fine Arts, Amal Muqallad started her small business creating scented candles and concrete products after enrolling in a candle-making course with her mother.

Amal creates pieces suitable for birthdays, graduations, and special occasions. She is now working to develop and sustain her project, but needs financial and moral support to continue growing.

من الثعلة إلى قنوات: حكاية وسام القاسم

وسام القاسم، من أبناء الثعلة والمهجّر منها، اختار أن يبدأ من جديد رغم الظروف الصعبة.

بخبرته في تصليح الدراجات النارية والسيارات، بدأ وسام من الصفر وأسّس «كراج الأصدقاء» في قنوات بالشراكة مع صديق له من القرية.

لكن حتى تأمين لقمة العيش من خلال العمل اليومي أصبح أكثر صعوبة. فبسبب قطع الطرق وصعوبة التنقل، يواجه وسام تحديات في تأمين قطع الغيار الأصلية اللازمة لإصلاح السيارات والدراجات النارية، ما يؤثر بشكل مباشر على عمله ودخله.

ورغم هذه التحديات، يواصل وسام عمله متمسكًا بمهنته وبحقه في بناء حياة مستقرة وكريمة.
From Thaala to Qanawat: Wessam Al-Qassem’s Story

Wessam Al-Qassem, originally from Thaala and displaced from his home, chose to start over despite the difficult circumstances.

With experience repairing motorcycles and cars, Wessam started from scratch and established “Friends Garage” in Qanawat with a friend from the village.

But even making a living through daily work has become increasingly difficult. Due to road closures and restrictions on movement, Wessam faces challenges obtaining original spare parts needed to repair vehicles and motorcycles, directly affecting his work and income.

Despite these challenges, Wessam continues to work, holding on to his profession and his right to build a stable and dignified life.
