Did you know? Every year, APO travels through Appalachia to put on our Children's Outreach Tour!

As part of our accessible educational programming, we bring mini-musicals, directly to students in underserved communities who might otherwise never experience live professional theater and music. All of our material is written and performed by Broadway Artists and accompanied by professional and collegiate musicians.

We had such a great time performing "Around the World in 80 Days" last fall, and cannot wait to hit the road in just a few weeks to showcase our next musical!

Happy birthday to the legendary Mandy Gonzalez 🎂!

From Broadway to film to television, this one-of-a-kind star has done it all over her illustrious career, and things are only going up!

We were lucky to share the stage with her for numerous concerts and have featured her performances on multiple of our PBS specials. Here is a clip from her performance of "Everything's Coming Up Roses" from our most recent special "Broadway's Leading Ladies."

At APO, we are so blessed call some of the most incredible performers ever to grace the stage our dear friends, working together to create special moments unlike anything heard before.

Patti LaBelle has been an amazing musician and an even more amazing friend to collaborate with over the years, bringing her soulful energy to our PBS specials. Here's a powerful clip from "How Great Thou Art: A Sacred Celebration," showing off her incredible voice through our orchestral rendition of "You Are My Friend."

There's always magic in store with APO!

A few years back we hosted "Wicked: In Concert," a musical celebration of Stephen Schwartz's iconic Broadway score and the cultural phenomenon this wonderful show created. Featuring performances by the Broadway stars of today and hosted by the leads of the original Broadway run, this special event proved to be an important landmark in this legendary show's history.

We've been running our NextGen Collegiate Vocal Competition for the last 9 years and are always so thrilled to be back at Lincoln Center to support the country's rising vocal talent. We've had the pleasure of meeting so many gifted young singers and seeing the next generation of performers rise to incredible heights.

Here's a clip of The Norwalk Conservatory for the Arts alum Sophia O'Brien performing "Something's Coming" at our 8th annual competition.
