⭐️It never tries to steal the spotlight from the shiny tiles, but the whole production falls apart without it. I often call it peanut butter or brownie batter or frosting.
⭐️They aren’t soloists, but a perfect ensemble. They can turn a blank canvas into a a broadway showstopper. I might tell you to be careful not to cut yourself on one.
⭐️They are the places where the grout gets to shine - I usually say if you can fit your pinky in one, glue down another tile into it!
⭐️In the theatre, we call it the boards. In mosaic world, there would be no masterpiece without it. I always say the best ones are old and come from cool garage sales or vintage stores.
