A perfect fit ~ The Mizz & Kit!
Mizter Mozaic has a high school buddy whose daughter attends college in DC. I met the whole fam when they came to visit back in the day (check out the throwback pic of her & her sis in the carousel!)📸
Fast forward a decade+ later, when things picked up in Mizz world. That’s when MIzter M suggested I reach out to her to see if she’d like to be part of the Mizz events team. So I did and she said yes!🙌
Over the past two semesters, Kit, (yes her name is Kit ~ could it be any more perfect!?!) & I have had the best time setting up for mosaic workshops, freezing our booties off at winter markets (& tripping on overgrown vegetation), lugging pounds of mosaic tiles, loading & unloading cars, schlepping supplies up & down numerous flights of stairs and making kits in my garage for the masses!🥶🎄🚙💪📦
My little sweet Kit-Kat was insanely dependable, made herself available for last-minute events, always showed up with a smile, jumped into any crazy task I asked of her and could lead the events like a champ. She even once showed up to work with a broken toe!!! I’m so grateful she chose to work with me as one of her FOUR PT jobs (see what I’m saying ~ this rockstar is full of drive & determination!) She’s now off to her next adventure in Europe (yes, she’s one of those smarties who gets scholarships for working hard & being brilliant!)🧠🧐
I am going to miss her dearly, but am so grateful she will always be part of the Mizz story. I hope I can convince her to work one last event during her graduation weekend in December, but maybe, just maybe, I’ll give her off to celebrate her amazing academic success! Thanks for everything, Kit! You’re the best!🩷🎉🙂🙏😭
