Let's talk about energy exchange at a show! Adults hanging around on their phone an entire set isn't the vibe. If you are a parent and just not into your child's music and not ready to send them in alone, that's where I come in.

Are we standing and swaying? Jumping? Sitting and singing? I'll match the energy in the room. And when the fans bring the energy - the artists do too.

Every artist starts somewhere. That somewhere is likely a neighborhood bar, coffeehouse, locally owned restaurant, or someone's backyard. (I've hosted my own deck show!)

Musicians need you; the listener, the follower, the supporter, the first fan. Stop and give that busker a listen. Throw a buck in the tip jar or scan that QR code. Buy a sticker or t-shirt. Grab a drink or snack from the venue. Every little bit helps. Tomorrow's arena headliner is playing a small stage (more likely the corner of a room) tonight. Be in the know.

Kicked off the season at Jiffy L**e Live on Sunday with Stone Temple Pilots and Godsmack !

Godsmack is one of our buddy's favorite bands. What an honor to take him to see them live for the first time - and his first show at Jiffy L**e Live!

As the concert advertisements rolled between sets, our buddy shared how he now wanted to go to more shows! That's the power of live music and the My Show Buddy experience! Excited to plan out our next show!

Incredible weekend!

Kicked things off Saturday night at The Anthem for Ashnikko Smoochies Tour with Royal & the Serpent opening the night, following the Friday release of her new album, Emptiness is Godly. The vibes were strong and the fits impressive.

Had four buddies for this show and were able to tailor the experience for each based on individual needs. We covered the front of the pit, the back of the pit, hit the upper tiers for new views and when the house lights came up, met Royal and the Serpent. Water and snacks were waiting in the car for the ride. Staying hydrated is key!

8 years ago, I made a new year resolution. After a bit of a run without live music, I had been to a concert in October, November, and December the previous year. I decided I would continue the streak and go to at least one concert a month that year.

Now, I'm closer to 6 shows a month.

I traveled out of state, to new venues, found new artists and followed my favorites. I went solo, I took my children, I took friends, I made friends.

Years of experience - amplified and ready to guide you on your show or experience.

No reservations here with going out on a 'school' night. There are only a few more hours until Maya's latest release is available, but we were able to hear the majority of the album live prior to release. A delightful night of live music, amazing storytelling, and positive energy on a Wednesday in DC.

Never miss a show, especially a weeknight show!

Here's to hoping we see back in a DC soon, perhaps at next!
