There are so many great things about Shenandoah County: the landscape, the views, the history. But even deeper there are connections and support from other businesses and people that are so unique and special. Shenandoah County entrepreneurs and business are brimming with creativity and passion. It's no wonder the Celebrating Excellence in Shenandoah County Annual Awards Dinner through the Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce was sold out last night. There were some wonderful recognitions and honors, all of which were well deserved.
The Yellow Barn at Shenandoah Caverns again served as a fantastic venue and the Proctor family are such gracious hosts. All of the food prepared by Happenings, Flour & Water Co., and Triplett Tech Culinary Students was delicious. The beats provided by Twisted Pair Audio were on point. Our master of ceremonies Chris Mitchell of Shenandoah Country Q102 did a great job. The Photo Booth from The Rosy Co. was a big hit. The cookies from Three Melons Bake Shop, the glasses from The Kirkland Image LLC, all the work behind the scenes that make an event like this so fantastic.
But mostly it was all the people who came together in support of each other: applauding each others successes, sharing each others passions, carrying each others legacies - all are what makes this county a great place to live, work, and have fun. Cheers to 2024!
