Got up this morning...put on a warm coat, grabbed my water, a bag of chips and a portable charger and chair and headed to the polls....only to find there was no line and no confusion...but I was ready for anything because today will never be a day that I didn’t vote because I was cold or the line was too long. Ohhh Fall 2020.....the past few months threw me a few curveballs. Way more than my little slugger had to swing at and more than I could have ever imagined. As we take our annual end of season FallBalll pick I’m reminded of how much I love this season. And through all the craziness I just repeat the words I’ve heard from my mother, my aunts, my grandma, my dad, my uncles, my girlfriends, my ancestors and every other person of faith I know.....”God gives you only what you have the strength to bear.” So I keep going, loving, living, smiling, praying....eating porridge, fry bake and curry chana, loving on my child, my family and giving the best Ive got to this world.
