The beautiful thing of the day is an extraordinary nun who lived in Spain over 500 years ago.

Saint Teresa of Àvila.

She created sanctuaries and refuges for women. She taught, inspired and empowered them all, and fought against their oppression. She risked death multiple times. She led fiercely and with conviction. She got things done! And she would’ve been the first in line to VOTE.
