Educators, artists, librarians, and advocates let’s come together to keep our stories UNBANNED during and weekend in DC!
Join us Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 2:30-5:30 PM
(doors open at 2 PM) as UNBANNED presents The Librarians at the Historic Miracle Theatre.
This afternoon gathering brings together a live forum, a panel conversation, and a screening of The Librarians - a documentary executive-produced by Sarah Jessica Parker and directed by Kim A. Snyder.
Discussion moderated by Katea Stitt (WPFW 89.3 FM).
Panelists include Kenny Carroll (Author & Literary Activist ), Rachael Walker ( Read Across America), McKenna Samson ( ), and Kelsea Johnson ( ).
BOL Coop Bookstore Association will be in the lobby with a pop-up bookstore.
This event supports the 2026 opening of The Artivism Library Collection in the Anacostia Arts District.
