HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US! 🎉 🎈💐

Three truths, one lie—and eleven years later, we’re still going strong.

On September 2, 2015, Cara and Pierce produced and hosted their first Perfect Liars Club. The room was sold out. The crowd was suspicious. And one storyteller was lying.

We had no idea this mischievous little show would still be going strong eleven years later.

To everyone who has told a story, interrogated a suspect, cast a spectacularly misguided vote, vied for bragging rights or brought a friend back to experience the chaos: Thank you for making it last.

And DC, after eleven years of interrogations, accusations and wildly misplaced confidence, you have learned absolutely nothing about spotting a liar.

Clearly we have more work to do.

Evidently, Perfect Liars Club is going to be around for a very long time.

The stories are only half the show.

Then we hand Washingtonians a microphone.

At our August show, one table negotiated for extra questions, appointed a spokesperson, invoked a committee chairman, and unveiled an evidence board connecting Hanson, peanut butter, and Pasadena -- all within a span of 90 seconds.

This is the interrogation round.

Everyone vying for Bragging Rights gets 30 seconds to explain why they’ve already identified the liar.

Derek had other ideas.

Fortunately, Pierce was there to help him bring his argument to a swift and decisive conclusion.

In the end, Derek got the last laugh: Jenn really was the liar. He claimed Bragging Rights and went home with a suitable-for-framing certificate officially recognizing his achievement.
