DC Out Dance

Due to being unable to procure a reasonable rate for our host hotel and ballroom space over Labor Day Weekend, we have decided not to hold DC Out for 2023. To say that we are disappointed is a serious understatement, but we are dedicated to holding a high-quality, super-fun event where our talented instructors and DJs are paid their worth and that doesn't break the bank for our attendees. Our goal is to broaden our net for 2024 and work to identify a space that will continue to showcase our magnificent city while creating a friendly, welcoming experience for our guests. Meanwhile, we hope to see everyone out enjoying the various LGBTQ+ dance events occurring around the nation this year -- especially Stompede who've said this is their final hurrah. We hope you have a great 2023!!

It is with great sadness that we announce that we have made the difficult decision not to hold DC Out for 2022. We are excited to see the world opening up and to see events happening again. There are still some uncertainties with Covid and challenges we have to face in organizing an event. We would like to take some additional time to take a more cautious approach, to learn from the events that are opening up this year and to reopen with the event being as close to what it has been in years past as possible.

We hope to see you at Stompede in May and The Wrangler Weekend Los Angeles in July!
