30 Years: A significant milestone and an incredible journey

This year we celebrate three decades of gospel music at Washington Performing Arts! We are now in the midst of a three-year gospel music program campaign— a $450,000 initiative (2024-2026) to enhance programmatic development for both the children and adult choirs and secure the program's artistic vision in presenting this vibrant and dynamic American art form.

We invite you to take part in our efforts and help us realize our plans—more collaborations, travel for the choirs, investment in scholarships, tools for teaching students (scores, theory books, vocal coaches, etc.)—for our gospel choirs by making a special gift to commemorate the anniversary today.
