The Art Deco styled architecture has been characteristic of the Uptown for decades. Some consider the Uptown as the Ziegfeld Theater of Washington DC. October 29, 2016 will mark the Uptown Theater's 80th anniversary! I'm sure many are transported back years at the mere sight of the theater. We smile as we reminisce. Maybe even

a sentimental cord might be struck as well. So...
