Beat on the Bard Theatre Company The Company As the name suggests, The Company seeks to interpret the works of Shakespeare in new ways.

Bringing together both current students and Graduates that have continued to study and love theater, the Beat on the Bard Theatre Company has grown out of the theatre department at Yorktown High School in Arlington, Virginia. Beat on the Bard is also committed to helping young theatre artist’s gain experience and exposure in the Washington D.C theatre community. The company is also interested to exploring the relationship between theatre and music and how the power, history, and emotion of music can be used to create a dynamic theatrical experience.
