Little things in life matters βπ»β€οΈ
Life is a beautiful journey encompassing both big and small moments to treasure. Sometimes when we focus on big milestones often the little things go unnoticed, but it's the small moments of love, joy, connection which gives our life a meaningful purpose and create ever lasting memories. π
As Robert Frost said in one of my childhood favorite poems, "Stopping by woods on a snowy evening" - "The woods are lovely dark and deep. But I have promises to keep. And miles to go before I sleep.." π²
So, in the hustle bustle of life, we get so caught up fulfilling our duties and responsibilities and we ignore rejoicing the little things which profoundly impacts our mental health and well being. π₯°
How to appreciate these little moments? π
1. Practice gratitude, be thankful each day for whatever we have. π€
2. Live for the present moment, slow down, let everything happen organically. βΊοΈ
3. Practice mindfulness to be aware of yourself and your surroundings. ππ»ββοΈ
4. Spend time with your loved ones and create connections. π₯°
5. Finding joy in simple things. π«Άπ»
6. Loving, forgiving and trusting yourself every time. ππ»ββοΈ
7. Understanding and forgiving people and only remembering the happy moments and letting go off the bad memories. π§π»ββοΈ
Listing down few common little things that gives us true happiness: π
1. Waking up to a beautiful sunny day. π
2. Taking a long walk through nature, watching sunrise, sunset, rain, flowers blooming, spending time with nature. π΄
3. Getting a text message or a phone call from your loved ones. π
4. Eating your favorite meal or a healthy, tasty food. π
5. Spending quality time with someone you care. β₯οΈ
6. Winning a game. π
7. Getting a surprise visit or a surprise gift. π§π»ββοΈ
8. Unwrapping a present.π
9. Helping someone in need. βπ»

12. Suddenly finding something missing for a while. π
13. Indulging in things that interests you like listening to music, writing journals, reading books, painting, cooking, travelling, a long drive. π΄π»ββοΈ π

15. When someone understands and respects you. π«Άπ»
16. A gesture of kindness or support. ππ»
17. Tidying up your room. π§Ή
