Sasha Sinclair is An Artist

Sasha Sinclair is a visual artist, DC Tour Guide, a Washington, DC Artist Fellow, independent art historian and curator, and Docent at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC.

Sasha’s art practice centers around mixing classical painting and photography processes with digital manipulation of these images. Her influences include fashion, graphic design, film noir and pop art. Her many accomplishments include selling out her first five solo art exhibitions, winning the 2002 ABSOLUT® Vodka Art prize, and being juried into many group exhibitions and curating art exhibits in Washington, DC.

She has received numerous grants from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities - most recently, a Sisters Cities grant that allowed her to worked with French poets and their counterparts in Washington, DC to produce an illustrated poetry anthology that will be published later this year.
