The 007 Fan Club for the DC Metro Area

On Saturday, April 18, we'll be celebrating the two year anniversary of our club's founding event by visiting the International Spy Museum's new special exhibit, "Camouflage: Designed to Deceive."

Attendees will meet at 1:00 pm in the lobby in front of James Bond's Aston Martin. Tickets should be purchased individually, directly through the museum.

(If you would like to check out the main museum, we recommend doing so before meeting up with us at 1:00 pm.)

Following the museum, we'll head over to DC's Wharf for cocktails, food, and some other special surprises as part of our anniversary celebration.

As with all our events, there's no charge to attend - all you need to pay for are your own tickets, food, and drinks. Club membership is free - sign up through the link in our bio!

Photo dump from last night's happy hour event at 1969 in Arlington's Astro Beer Hall. Thanks to all who joined us over drinks to talk about all things related to our favorite British secret agent. Stories were swapped on Bond location-based travel and opinions were shared on the books, films, and actors in the franchise.

Our next scheduled event will be Saturday April 18 as we revisit the International Spy Museum for the club's 2 year anniversary! Details will be posted on our socials as well as emailed to our member list. If you haven't already, fill out the form in our bio to get added to our mailing list - Membership is free!

This Saturday, February 21 marks our first event of the year! Join us at 5 pm in the basement of Arlington's Astro Beer Hall as we travel back to 1969. If this weather we've been having hasn't put you in the mood to watch Magesty's, this happy hour sure will!

For those who want to keep the party going, there are several different restaurants in Shirlington Village that our group can walk to for dinner.

There are plenty of free lots and garages in the area for those who are driving. Metro bus and other public transportation is also available.

As with all our gatherings, there is never a fee to join the club or our events. Just cover any of your own drink/food purchases.

Capitol Royale is excited to announce our 2026 calendar of events! If you are in the DC metro area, or are planning to visit, be sure to save these dates and join us at one of our quarterly James Bond fan club get-togethers. Membership is free and we never charge any fees to attend our meetups.

We'll be kicking things off on Saturday, February 21 at 5 pm with a happy hour in Arlington, VA at the Astro Beer Hall's 1969-themed "space race" basement party room. The bar offers dozens of draft beers, cocktails, and seasonal drinks as well as a "pub-fare" menu. For those with a larger appetite or who want to keep the party going, join us afterwards for dinner at one of Shirlington Village's nearby restaurants (location TBD based on RSVPs).

On Saturday, April 18, we'll be celebrating the two year anniversary of the club's founding event by revisiting the International Spy Museum for their special exhibit, "Camouflage: Designed to Deceive." Attendees will meet at 12:45 pm in the lobby in front of James Bond's Aston Martin. Tickets should be purchased individually, directly through the museum for a 1 pm entry time. Following the museum, we'll head over to DC's Wharf for cocktails, food, and some other special surprises as part of our anniversary celebration.

Our "Range Day" event was such a hit last year, we've decided to do it again! Join us on Saturday, July 25 as we revisit Precision Point in Frederick, MD for target practice. We'll meet at 3 pm to sign in and attend a brief safety demonstration. Guests can either bring their own fi****ms or rent one from the facility. Our group will have our own range of 12 lanes, so everyone will have plenty of time to test their aim. Several experienced professionals will be on hand for those new to the sport. Dinner and drinks will follow at a spot nearby.

For our final event, dress as your favorite Bond, villain, henchperson, or femme fatale at a costume party on the evening of Saturday, October 10 in a secret location to be revealed only to those who RSVP. Prizes will be given for the most creative characters, so have fun with it! Food will be provided, but please plan to BYOB.

Join us this Saturday, November 8 at 10 am in front of Bond's Aston Martin DB5 in the lobby of the International Spy Museum for our group's final event of 2025 - attending the museum's 19th Annual Parade of Trabants!

Trabants will be parked around the Spy Museum on L’Enfant Plaza with their owners as well as museum experts on hand to answer your questions about the Cold War, Communism, and how these cars represent that era. Try your hand at graffiti "Berlin-style" or see if you can fit into the tiny spaces like those escaping from East Berlin did, all while the Alte Kameraden German Band provides festive music.

Join us on Saturday, November 8th at the International Spy Museum to celebrate the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall at this festive gathering of the quintessential Cold War car—the Trabant. Trabants haven't appeared in any James Bond films to our knowledge (Jack Wade's car in GoldenEye is a similar Soviet equivalent), but they are icons of the Cold War, just as Bond is.

Trabants will be parked around the Spy Museum on L’Enfant Plaza, SW. Their owners will be on hand to answer queries. Experts can answer your questions about the Cold War, Communism, and how these cars represent that time too. Try your hand at graffiti Berlin-style or see if you can fit into the tiny spaces like those escaping from East Berlin did, all while the Alte Kameraden German Band provides festive music.

Our group will meet in the lobby of the Spy Museum near the Aston Martin DB5 at 10:00 am. As with all our events, there's no charge to attend.

Join us on Sunday, October 12 at noon for our 2nd Annual Golf-finger Mini Golf Tournament, featuring lunch and games at The Puttery DC, located at 800 F Street NW in the original Spy Museum building.

If you ask nicely, Oddjob might even caddy for you - just watch your aim... and your head!

The fun didn't stop after range time at Precision Point! Following target practice, some club members met up at Friscos for dinner and drinks, enjoying great food and even better company. It's always a pleasure gathering with fellow fans and sharing our passion for our favorite spy!
