Ronnie Radke has defended his decision to publicly support Marilyn Manson while the musician faced sexual abuse allegations. The Falling In Reverse frontman said he related to Manson because he had also been accused of things he says he did not do.

Radke aimed his criticism at the United States, saying the country built Manson up and then set about destroying him. He did not address the specific allegations themselves. His comments expand on a position he had already taken in public rather than walking it back. No statement came from Manson in connection with the remarks.

Radke has not indicated whether he will return to the subject. Falling In Reverse have announced nothing tied to the comments, and no further detail on the legal situation was given alongside them.

"Dead But Dreaming" came out on October 11, 2011, the first single pulled from "Until I Feel Nothing". Fifteen years today.

Tim Lambesis produced the album alongside the band, and Victory put it out, the same catalogue that carried the heavy end of the scene through those years. The single arrived ahead of the full record, which followed "Hell Chose Me" from 2010 on that same label. It's the track that opened the campaign for the fourth Carnifex album.

No anniversary edition, no reissue, nothing announced around the date so far. Fans still can't agree on whether "Until I Feel Nothing" or "Hell Chose Me" is the record that defines the band.

Is this the one you would pick from that record?

Despised Icon put out "Snake in the Grass" on October 11, 2019. It was the second single lifted from "Purgatory", the album the Canadians released through Nuclear Blast that same year.

Production went to Yannick St Amand together with guitarist Eric Jarrin and vocalist Alex Erian, so two of the three names on the desk were in the band. Nuclear Blast rolled the record out single by single through 2019, and this one came second in that run. Deathcore from Quebec, handled in house.

Nothing has been announced around the date. Seven years later, the argument about which Despised Icon record defines them is still running.

"The Act" turns seven today. The Devil Wears Prada put out their seventh full length on 11 October 2019 through Solid State.

Jonathan Gering produced it, and it shipped on CD and digital. The record followed "Transit Blues", released in 2016 on Rise, and it moved the band onto Solid State after stretches on Rise, Ferret Music and Roadrunner. Thirteen years had passed since "Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord" first came out on Rise in 2006.

Since then the band has stayed on Solid State, with "ZII" in 2021, "Color Decay" in 2022 and "Flowers" this year. Seven records sit on either side of it. The argument over whether "Dead Throne" or "With Roots Above and Branches Below" is the one that defines them hasn't moved an inch.

2. Lines of Your Hands
3. Chemical
4. Wave of Youth
5. Please Say No
6. The Thread
7. Numb
8. Isn’t It Strange?

"Spiral in a Straight Line" turns two today. It came out on 11 October 2024 through Rise Records, the sixth full length from the California band and their first for that label.

The move to Rise followed two albums on Epitaph, "Stage Four" in 2016 and "Lament" in 2020. Deathwish Inc. handled "Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me" in 2011 and "Is Survived By" in 2013. The debut, "...To the Beat of a Dead Horse", landed on 6131 Records in 2009. Four labels, fifteen years.

No anniversary edition or special run of dates has been announced. Two years on, fans still argue over whether "Stage Four" or "Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me" is the one that defines them.

"Out of Control" landed on 11 October 2019 through Equal Vision Records. Seven years today.

Gideon put it out as a US band already working inside the Equal Vision catalogue, and the record is the one people point to when they talk about the turn in the band's sound. More groove, less of the straight metalcore framework the early material ran on. It shipped in 2019 on digital and physical, and it's been in the label's catalogue ever since.

No anniversary edition has been announced, and there's no word on a vinyl repress for the date. What's left is the line this album drew. Fans still argue over whether Gideon before 2019 and Gideon after are the same band.

OUT OF CONTROL:
1. welcome to S town
2. SLEEP
3. TAKE ME
4. 2 CLOSE
5. LOW LIFE

Hatebreed release "Fatal Paradox" on November 6 through BLKIIBLK. Jamey Jasta already has the next one in his head.

Jasta compared the plan to the run from "Perseverance" in 2002 into "The Rise To Brutality" in 2003, when an album followed inside a year. "We know we have to follow up quick," he said. Matt Byrne is on drums, Wayne Lozinak and Frank Novinec on guitars, with Carl Schwartz handling bass live and helping with the admats.

Next year brings stadium dates with a band he hasn't named, another Summer Slaughter leg and the anniversary of the 1997 debut "Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire". That could mean one home state show or ten. Which lineup owns those songs is an old argument here.
