the SOUL & REGGAE PARTY returns to the scene with a new city and new home. Now moving to SLASH RUN in Washington DC with the blessing of Pablo Fiasco - to be run by originator Mark Zimin aka DJ ROARY LION and Sean Hissey aka DJ MAD SQUIRREL, both part of the Chocolate City Soul Club collective. Considered the degenerate father of all Baltimore Soul Nights, TIGHTEN UP was established by Pablo Fiasco in 2003 at the Lithuanian Hall. For the first 4 years, the night was regularly DJ'd by MODIFIED's Mark Zimin and Matt Walter. In the past 5 years, a myriad of DJ's have guested and regularly participated included the likes of CHARM CITY SOUL CLUB's Mike Cuesta and Ryan Collins, DJ Amanda Otto, Paul Labelle, Pietro DiGennaro + many many more. exposed many to wondrous club basement of Lith Hall, and inspired several other 60's nights to start up in the space, notably the ultra-successful SAVE YOUR SOUL.
