The exam may have been worth 100 points but this move was worth 300 IQ 💀
📺: Instant Kiwi (1999)
Fun Fact: This ad came out of Saatchi & Saatchi’s New Zealand office in 1999 and became one of the most recognized commercials the country ever produced. The whole move only works in a massive lecture hall where the professor has no chance of knowing every face. The student isn’t flexing status when he asks the question. He’s confirming anonymity. And the second the professor admits he doesn’t know him, the paper goes into the stack and becomes untraceable. The apple grab at the end is the cherry on top, a completely unnecessary power move that turns a clever escape into a legendary one.
