The influence of barbershop chorus participation is timeless! Several years ago as a young man, prior to his service in the US Navy, Alyster Alcudia was a member of our Singing Capital Chorus, where he contributed as a valued member of our baritone section. Years later now, Alyster is on his way to his medical degree at Temple University, where he sings with the school's a ca****la group. Here is their recent rendition of "Go the Distance," right from the annals of the Barbershop Harmony Society's music library, performed for their fellow students and faculty. What a joy to see how our art form can be both expertly executed and so well received by groups of ALL types in all communities. Bravo, Alyster!
