First Fridays in Downtown DC will never be the same! 🎻 Last Friday, we entered the final quarter of 2026 with music, art, a full house and a whole lot of feeling.

For The Art of Cello, Élise Sharp of The String Queens ™️ guided Lawrence B Davin through a live, interactive and incredibly vulnerable cello lesson.

We listened, learned, laughed and watched as technique became expression and music took shape right in front of us.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to the DowntownDC BID for helping us bring another First Friday to life.
