My partner and I recently visited Washington, D.C. to celebrate her birthday and she surprised me with a visit to the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum. We got to see some world famous bonsai trees and my wife took a photo of a special tree with me in it. I recognized it instantly as Master wire tree artist made a miniature replica of this tree. Thank you to my wonderful wife for taking me to visit this remarkable museum.

Hello friends! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted, but wanted to show my support for the release of the sixth and final season of 🥋⛩️💪🏼

I grew up watching The Karate Kid movies so when came out with Cobra Kai I was hooked from the start! The absolute best series I’ve ever watched! I have a few pieces of Cobra Kai art and today I’m sharing an exquisite egg that displays the Cobra Kai logo. Made by the brilliant artist this is a one-of-a-kind piece that is very special to me. To all of the fans NO MERCY!!

Hello everyone! I’ve been busy with work and travel lately and haven’t been able to post, but I’m back now! 👍🏼

For this I wanted to share a special bonsai . The display stand I’m sharing is special because the artist (located in the Netherlands…not on Instagram) built a display stand that resembles a Torii gate ⛩️. Truly exceptional and one-of-a-kind.

Hi friends! I decided to share something a bit different this week for . During my time of collecting wire trees I developed an interest in stones (also called viewing stones). Suiseki stones are stones that are naturally occurring and unshaped and placed in custom wooden display stands or trays to create an image of harmony. I chose the Suiseki stone in this post because it reminds me of the famous in in Oregon. This is a famous rock formation that has been featured in several films including my all-time personal favorite . The second photo is a photo of when I visited Haystack Rock during a trip with my partner to the west cost of the U.S. in 2019. ☺️

This week I’m sharing a that really grew on me (no pun intended 😉). Made by the late Sir Ian Stewart of the UK 🇬🇧(), this flocked wire tree is made to resemble a tree clinging to a cliff. The yellow really goes well with this piece.

Here’s to another fantastic ! 😄

Today I’m sharing a and handmade aluminum made by artist Nathan Huggett of Australia 🇦🇺 ( ). The trunk and branches are made of copper wire while the leaves are flocked. The miniature aluminum pot was handmade by the artist as well. This piece caught my eye as I’ve never seen an artist make a bonsai pot out of aluminum. Very unique!

Time flies when you’re showcasing ! Time for yet another !! 😄

This week I’m sharing a made by the brilliant artist Michael King of Brisbane, Australia 🇦🇺 (). This wire tree was made using wire only…no glues, epoxies, or substrates. Just wire. Fascinating to look at.

Happy friends!

This week I’m sharing a very special piece which is technically made of wire but you can’t tell by looking at it. This was a commissioned piece made by the masterful artist of New Zealand. I asked if the artist could make a replica of the tree over water in the second photo in this post. The tree and stones are made of polymer clay with a clear resin used for the water and waterfall. A fascinating piece that stands out amongst the rest. The artist did an outstanding job!!
