I wrote a note to myself and I wanted to share it with y’all:

I feel an immense amount of gratitude and overwhelm. I’m the happiest I’ve been in years and I cry constantly, but not out of pain or sorrow, but out of my capacity for love.

I can love, fully and deeply, without ownership or pressure, without knowing my sealed fate. I can appreciate the things I possess now, I can appreciate presence and soft eye contact.

I can hold a kiss and a whisper without making it last forever. I can hope to see it again without force. I don’t have to suck the marrow of the moment, this isn’t my last meal.

I am expansive. I am not alone, for this love is what carries me. It is the thread that keeps me alive.

Sio Ceramics isn’t just about clay or a being cool artsy lady. It has challenged me t develop my capacity to love myself and my community. I am forever grateful and a little sensitive. I love you.
