Goli Sotudeh is a celebrant of Persian and Persian-American weddings. She performs the cultural Persian ceremony tailored to the style and preference of today's progressive generation of Iranians who enjoy a celebration of Persian heritage.

The ceremony consists of a several components many of which are tailored to the preferences of the couple based on preparatory discussions and meetings to be held in advance. A typical ceremony includes the following and can be performed in a combination of Farsi and English based on the desires of the couple and the amount of time allotted for the ceremony:

- Welcome to the guests
- Brief description of the Persian wedding
- Explanation of the items represented on the Sofreh Aghd
- Recital of an introductory poem
- Announcement and recognition of the named witnesses
- Ceremonial opening statement
- Asking bride & groom for their confirmation
- Ring exchange and honey tasting ritual
- Wedding poem by Rumi or another Persian poet
- Special poem for bride & groom
- Ceremony wrap-up and best wishes for the couple
