Responding to today’s pressing needs for “hope, accountability, catharsis, nostalgia, and comfort,” Naylor offers up an improvised setlist ranging from Dolly Parton and American musicals to Ukrainian songs and Ravel – maybe even Kermit the Frog and Abraham Lincoln. Collaborators Erin Lee (pianist) and Marie Nikolaevna Herrington (composer/singer/pianist) join Alan to inspire laughter, tears, and healing.

Fab Opening Night of ’s
🎭 “OR” by Liz Duffy Adams’s at / Atlas
Performing Arts Center!!! This is the reason Tom & I love living in our DMV area, as we get to see awesome 🤩 productions in large, medium & small theatres- and Constellation might be a medium size theatre - but it is a lion that roars!

We highly recommend the hilarious and fast-paced comedic romp of “OR” - expertly orchestrated and directed by the indomitable .stockman - Founding Artistic Director. The show has a charming and uber talented cast of 3 actors doing fast multiple roles, / Veronica del Cerro, / Irene Hamilton and that brings to life the fascinating world of Aphra Behn - spy, “open minded” feminist, poet and first British first female professional playwright in the 1660s. This is a much needed fun time for all.

Join the witty Aphra Behn & her friends as she literally races against the clock to finish a script, navigate secret missions, intrigue , and juggle l***y entanglements, all in one chaotic night.

📅 May 15 - Jun 7
📍Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H St NE, Washington, DC 20002)

Fab & Uplifting Opening Night at the great Stage, of the fantastic & moving “Little Women: The Musical,” beautifully directed by / Laura Connors Hull ~ Founding Artistic Director with a most lovable & talented cast, that you just fall in love 😍 with. Great music, choreography, staging, costumes & positive energy that the 4 March sisters hold despite trials & tribulations.

Little Women has always been our favorite story about family, resilience, and the ties that bind us all together.
We had never seen the musical version, so proud of the indomitable team at Cauldron for such a beautiful production. It’s incredibly moving to see those same themes reflected in our own local theater community. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel or falling in love with the March sisters for the first time through Allan Knee’s book and the beautiful score by Jason Howland and Mindi Dickstein, this production has something special for everyone.

Tom Noll and everyone loved the gorgeous hand-painted storybook set with Alcott’s writing everywhere designed & executed by Margie Jervis.

This is the kind of intimate theater that reminds you why we all love live performance. It’s warm, it’s funny, it’s heartbreaking and everyone has excellent views.

We also love 💕 Cauldron’s tradition at opening nights - with all actors & creative forces of the show on stage - to toast production with sparkling wine that is brought in for everyone!!! Thank you also to dear & & team for friendship.

Show run Thursdays through Sundays now until June 7th. Theatre is located at 127 E Broad Street, in Falls Church, VA; with parking 🅿️ & dinning options close by - so make it a family outing with friends and celebrate the awesome women in your lives.

Superb Opening Night at /GALA Hispanic Theatre 🎭 for its anticipated 50th season with their energetic, enlightening & uplifting production of AGUARDIENTE 🔥 ~ bringing it to stage & to life with electrifying music, bold movement, and a story that quite literally writes itself in real time.

GALA (Grupo de Artistas Latinoamericanos/ Group of Latin American Artists) thru five inspiring decades of bold, creative, educational and inspiring bilingual storytelling has a special place in my heart ❤️ as it has supported many creative Latino artists & uplifted our cultures & stories from Spain to every corner of Latin America.

Directed and choreographed by Luis Salgado with music by Daniel Gutiérrez, this new magical, passionate musical with more than 17 talented & energetic actors/dancers & exceptional band ~ blends salsa, curruloa, bomba, cumbia, mambo, jazz, and more into a high-energy, genre-defying experience. Two writers set out to create a musical—and watch it come alive before their eyes—as imagination, identity, and reality collide in a world shaped by magical realism and Afro-Caribbean rhythm 🎶

Hurrah & Kudos on the Opening of soon to be populardc a steakhouse 🥩 in Georgetown ~ with one of the nation’s youngest Michelin-starred talent, the dynamic Chef and his flawless team, is set to bring his fine dining and midwestern roots!

Tom Noll and I enjoyed the Special Media Preview at the beautifully designed warm 50-seat steakhouse sits tucked into a hidden alleyway at 3201 Cherry Hill Lane, has a fab gothic feel - self-described “temple of beef” for Georgetown; will be opened from 5 to 11 PM.

Ratino knew that he could turn the status symbol into something unique, high-end, and, yet, still affordable enough for a fancy date night. He is sourcing his beef from 16 different farms, and is committed to keeping costs down by butchering and even dry aging every cut himself in the restaurant’s basement. Cocktails, wine list, appetizers, sides & desserts are creative, unique & delicious, served by the most friendly team.

Chef Ryan Ratino, the mastermind behind Hive Hospitality, is a culinary virtuoso at the forefront of the dining scene. His portfolio boasts the acclaimed One MICHELIN-starred Bresca, Two MICHELIN-starred JÔNT, and the newly minted MICHELIN-starred MAASS at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Fort Lauderdale. With a trail of accolades to his name, including the prestigious 2023 Young Chef Award from the MICHELIN Guide, Chef Ratino stands as the country’s most MICHELIN-starred chef with an impressive five stars across his establishments.

Indeed Ox & Olive is a great addition to the DC dining scene, with its unique chef, decor, bartenders & team, seasonal dishes with fresh ingredients and casual dining style. Thank you dear Holly Barzyk with for a great event.
