Our young singers had the incredible opportunity to perform Tosca with Wolf Trap Opera at Wolf Trap's Filene Center on August 7. It's incredible to watch our students grow into confident, capable performers, ready to take on some of the region's biggest stages.

We were honored to welcome Genesis and Genesis Inspiration Foundation for a special celebration of youth arts education in our region.

Our choristers were proud to perform as we accepted a generous grant from the Genesis Inspiration Foundation in support of the Children's Chorus of Washington. This investment will help us expand access to exceptional music education and meaningful performance opportunities for young people across our community.

We are deeply grateful to Genesis and the Genesis Inspiration Foundation for believing in the power of the arts to inspire, connect, and empower the next generation.

2026-2027 season enrollment at Children's Chorus of Washington is here, and this season we're growing to reach even more young singers across the DMV.

We're launching a new Prep Class at our Southwest campus for singers rising into grades K-1, plus an additional Training Ensemble section on Sundays in Northwest for singers rising into grades 2-3. That means more chances for young singers to find their fit at CCW.

Enrollment is now open, and auditions for select ensembles are underway. Space is limited, so register or schedule an audition today!

Last Sunday’s concert, Voices of Celebration: 30 Years in Song, was a fitting finale to CCW’s 30th Anniversary Season. This milestone event brought together singers, alumni, friends, and family to honor the past, celebrate the present, and look ahead to the future of CCW.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this concert such a memorable tribute to CCW and to our season theme, DC Voices. Your support, enthusiasm, and shared love of music made this celebration truly special.

Before taking the stage for our 30th Anniversary Concert, CCW alumni gathered for a special dinner following Saturday’s rehearsals. It was an evening filled with laughter, memories, and gratitude as alumni reconnected and celebrated the lasting impact of Mr. Cotton, Ms. G, Mrs. P, and Mrs. Clark.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful reunion and helped make the weekend so memorable.
