We are a DC-based anti-oppression burlesque troupe that celebrates all bodies and identities. The Manic Pixie Nightmares hold our values very close to our hearts, and maintaining a fun, safe, and respectful space for our audience is a number one priority. Our vision for shows is to create a space where people can experience art, comedy, and music while feeling welcomed and safe in their identities

including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, body type and ability. Shows generally feature 6-10 performances of a variety of styles (classical burlesque, neoburlesque, drag, vocal, etc.)
