10 years ago Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah [formerly Christian Scott]] blessed the couchesrecords stage at Loft 523 (fka Gravier Street Social). Even though this was filmed on a phone and we weren’t even using real stage lighting at the time this clip captures the raw energy of the night. It was a special one.
The BIG NEWS is we’re returning to Loft 523 for a Fall/Winter Residency: Couches at the Lofts, spanning from Oct 30 to Dec 20th. We’ll have our full sound, lighting, furniture, and decor install in place and programming weekly shows, listening parties, DJ parties, and whatever else feels good. Stay tuned for the announcements (but also *join the textlist* if you haven’t to get first word on what’s coming! hit our linkinbio to sign up.)
