Lefty Kreh’s Tie Fest has always been about more than the flies on the vise — it’s about the people who gather around them and the community that helps carry the sport forward.

Last year, we had the pleasure of meeting Hudson String, a young angler who attended Tie Fest. Hudson’s passion for fishing and eagerness to learn immediately stood out.

Moments like that remind us why events like Tie Fest matter. When young anglers step into a room filled with mentors, innovators, and lifelong watermen and women, something special happens. Knowledge is shared, confidence grows, and passion finds direction.

Lefty Kreh’s Tie Fest is BACK! 🔥

In the spirit of fly fishing’s most renowned torchbearers, the iconic event will return in 2026 to Vero Beach, Florida, on Saturday, March 21st.

Tie Fest unites legends of the sport and industry leaders with the community to pass on expertise and inspire stewardship in the next generation. There is no other place where you can spend so much one-on-one time with your fishing heroes.

The event features some of the world’s most innovative fly tiers. Tying tricks and fishing stories are passed across tables. New anglers and veterans alike learn from each other..
