Its WEDNESDAY. Far enough along in the week to be well past Monday, yet not far enough to taste Friday. A great day to learn about things that could enhance your life experience as a human being in just over two weeks. Things like lobsters and cheap and delicious alcohol and DJ SYLO and Soza on the 1's and 2's all night. A few thangs:
A) If you have already RSVP'd to Lobstah Palooza DC - Saturday 9/13/14 at the Josephine Butler Park Center but not yet purchased your ticket, I would strongly recommend purchasing it ASAP to reserve your spot. The event capacity is a strict 170 and there are LESS THAN 50 SPOTS left. It will sell out before the event and there will not be walk up tickets available. $40 full-price ticket and $25 non-lobster eater tickets available on lpdc.eventbrite.com
B) The event is 21+, so even though Trick luh da kids (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFETyg-nd7M), please leave them at home. IDs will be checked at the door.
C) The ticket price supports Washington Parks and People, a local non-profit that preserves and restores parks through Washington D.C that is headquartered at venue of LDPC. ADDITIONALLY - if the event sells out - which it will, so cop up ASAP - a $1000 contribution will be made to the American Brain Tumor Association to help support research of brain tumors like the one that tragically took my Uncle Neil's life, who was the original lobster man and where the whole lobster run/party idea came from in the first place.
That's all. My b for the long windedness. Hope to see y'all up at LPDC on September 13th!
