Capriccio Baroque thanks BENJAMIN ALARD for 2 glorious, unforgettable concerts on April 30 and May 2. Audiences were treated to sublime renditions of Bach’s Italiani Concerti and music written in Bach’s ‘Happy Years’ from 1717-1723. Washington Classical Review issued a most exceptional review.

Countertenor Iestyn Davies & harpist Oliver Wass gave an unforgettable concert at Wigmore Hall last night. Brilliant program of works focusing on manifestations of love through the ages. Difficult to identify personal highlights from such exceptional performances but the Muhly, Britten and Handel play on in my head.
