Joining Ela Razon are singer Jose Moreno, dancer Mariana Gatto Duran, and guitarist Ricardo Marlow.

Open seating under and around the pavilion and on the grass. Bring a lawn chair or blanket—or borrow one from the library. Picnics welcome!

And with a solar eclipse happening the very same day… what a day for flamenco. ✨🌘

A fantastic afternoon at the Spanish Cultural Center’s first Feria de Málaga! ☀️🇪🇸💃🏽

Gracias to our invited artists José Moreno and Ricardo Marlow for sharing the stage with us and to all our friends who joined us in the audience. Huge congratulations to Miguelito, who won first prize in the feria game - a two-night stay in Málaga! ✈️🌺 As our friend Wendy said, we all know so much about Málaga now 😆

Did you know that Feria de Málaga has been celebrated for over 500 years (!) going back to the late 1400s? 😲

Thank you to the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington (), Málaga City Council (), the Provincial Council of Málaga / Costa del Sol (), Bodegas Málaga Virgen (), and Cartojal Málaga () for bringing one of Spain’s most beloved celebrations to Washington, DC.

This Friday! Join us at the Feria de Málaga in Washington, DC ☀️🇪🇸

The Spanish Cultural Center is bringing one of Spain’s most beloved celebrations to the heart of the capital — a full day of flamenco, music, culture, games, and the iconic taste of Cartojal! 🍷🌺

SonDeBaril Flamenco will be performing at 5:30pm with invited artists José Moreno and Ricardo Marlow 🎶✨ We hope to see you there!

🍽️ Spanish food & drinks by Taberna del Alabardero throughout the day.

🤝 Presented by the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, Málaga City Council (Ciudad de Málaga), and the Provincial Council of Málaga (Costa del Sol - Costa del Sol Málaga). In collaboration with Bodegas Málaga Virgen (Bodegas Málaga Virgen) and Cartojal Málaga (Cartojal).

🎶✨ SonDeBaril Flamenco is at The Wharf DC this Saturday!

Flamenco meets tap at District Sounds 2026 - Yiyi Francisco J. Orozco, Ela Razon, José Moreno, & Héctor Márquez join tap artist Joseph Webb, Quynn Johnson, Charles Wilson, & Indra Carpio Pretel for a live exchange of rhythm, movement, and tradition.

🎶✨ Students and international performers come together in Washington, DC for a full day of music and culture at District Sounds. The festival features performances by local public school students alongside world-class artists, with genres ranging from hip-hop and cumbia to flamenco and house.

💃 This year’s program includes a special flamenco + tap collaboration between Spanish artist Francisco “Yiyi” Orozco and interdisciplinary artist Joseph Webb, showcasing a dynamic exchange of rhythm, improvisation, and cultural traditions.

➕ The event will also feature food and drinks on the waterfront and conclude with a special performance by ODDISEE and the Georgetown University Orchestra.
