Despite the obstacles the world has thrown at her she constantly perseveres. Leaning heavy into her faith and truly uplifts the people around her. In the classroom she thrives in a school system where scholars were severely behind academically before she entered their classroom. Now her scholars have already made 126% growth and it’s only the middle of the school year. How quickly she has been closing that gap is attributed to her immense determination to defy the odds and continue to pour into scholars in neighborhoods that are often forgotten.
