Join us for the opening reception of Omari Jesse’s solo exhibition,“Keepsake.”

September 17, 6–8PM at Chela Mitchell Gallery.

Keepsake explores the quiet moments that shape Black childhood, family, and community. Moments often overlooked because of their ordinary nature. Through collage, Omari Jesse reassembles fragments of photograph and memory to honor the spaces where identity is formed: living rooms, front porches, family gatherings, neighborhood streets, and the everyday rituals that teach us who we are.

Congratulations to Lauryn Levette on participating in FEMME Art Fair this weekend! 🎀

Lauryn is a Philadelphia-based artist, RISD grad (with honors 💅🏾), now earning her MFA at the University of Pennsylvania. Her work builds surrealist, dreamlike worlds centered on Black women’s cultural influence. Her work has shown internationally.

Her presentation at FEMME Art Fair this weekend is exactly the kind of energy this fair was built for. So proud to be here with you, Lauryn.
