Edit: SOLD Joy Before Us- 24inx24in is for sale ❤️ its counterpart is at this month for She:DC. This piece is named for the JOY that comes after sorrow or grief. The way the sunlight shimmers after a spring shower- when the clouds part and the sun peaks through for the first time since the rainfall. This moment in time is what I want this piece to capture.

I have walked many hard seasons- through many thick valleys. But after trudging with my head down, a moment comes when my eyes lift and I see a glimmer of hope- a promise of something new. This is what I want to evoke from this piece. The promise of JOY after a season of sorrow. 💕 Have you been here before too??

Joy Before Us- $500 - DM if interested. ❤️🥰

A night to remember… in the same room with PAUL HOLLYWOOD! Thank you to my mom for snagging us tickets! I’ve been watching since season 1, faithfully. It was such a fun night. He was charming, his accent is thicker without subtitles (😅), and I could see his blue eyes from the balcony. 🎂 🍰 🧁

A little process-behind the scenes- for you! This canvas was so incredibly fun, but it was intimidating. The hardest part of a giant canvas was to keep it loose. With something this large, you want to get really tight and detailed, but that wasn’t the brief. The key to this is layers. My best kept secret is layers- and LOTS of them. I start with a layer of textured gesso and then an under layer on all of my canvases. The more layer- the more I can lean into creativity and push away from perfection. For all my artists friends- do you use layers to loosen yourself up??

For everyone- have you started listening to the Bleachers yet!? I can’t get enough. Currently obsessed with and they played this song in the opening sequence a few episodes ago.

✨ Sneak peek! ✨
I’m so excited to share the very first nighttime scene I’ve ever painted — part of my upcoming DC Impressionist Minis collection!

This one captures the quiet glow of the Washington Monument at night, a view that’s both powerful and peaceful. Painting the city after dark was a new challenge for me, and I’m really proud of how it turned out. 💙🌙

💫 DC After Dusk
8x10” | Acrylic on linen canvas board
🎨 $300 (framed + ready to hang)

Each piece in this collection is small in size but full of feeling — a tribute to the city I love.

More minis coming soon!

Just finished two new acrylic impressionist paintings of Washington, DC — and I’m kind of in love with how they turned out. 💛 Both are framed in reclaimed antique frames (found at our local Salvation Army!!) that feel like they could’ve been hanging in a little French cottage somewhere.

They were totally inspired by a trip I took with my mom to the MidAtlantic Antique Festival. I spent so much time drooling over the 1700s and 1800s French and English impressionist paintings — the colors, the textures, the mood. I came home so full of ideas I had to get right to work.

Swipe through to see the details! These are a little love letter to DC, with a side of vintage charm.
