Have fun out there, but remember where we came from, and that trans / gender non-conforming folks have not just always been with us, but at the forefront of our fight for liberation.

I know this is coming a few days late, but I wanted to take a moment to sincerely, deeply thank everyone who participated in last Friday's Winterween Spooktacular for HIPS. What a fun way to kick off the holiday spirit! The event was a blast, the crowd's energy was invigorating, the performers killed it, and we raised $557 for HIPS.

To all our performers: DJ Day Star, Natasha Nacre, Anna Steasya, Ya Meena, Walker Texas BangHer, Sally Cinch, and Sister Ex, thank you for your incredible generosity of time and talent.

To everyone who came out to the show, we are so grateful to you. None of this would be worth a dime (literally and figuratively) if y'all didn't show up and show out time and again to support us.

To Slash Run for being an amazing venue and for your excellent, staff. To Vanguard DC, EBM Worldwide, and all of the other behind-the-scenes support we had in organizing the event.

And above all to Johnny Panic, who led the charge organizing this one and did so much of the behind the scenes work in making this come to fruition. Thank you for always being my partner in crime, for your patience with my ups and downs, and for being a kind, supportive voice when I have moments of doubt.

Join us tonight for our Winterween Spooktacular at 9pm at Slash Run. All proceeds will go to .dc to help with the costs of things like food, hand warmers, socks, gloves, and everything else that grant funding won’t cover. There will be acts, music, a raffle, and more! Unfortunatley due to visa problems Vanguard Presents: Empathy Test / Nite / The Neuro Farm / Aertex!f had to be canceled, but thanks to the hard work of DJ Villainess and the support of Procession Magazine their tour was saved and they will be doing a very special performance at Safari Dc
