Save our stages!! We need local venues, more than just for concerts, but because they are institutions within our community and places where people of all backgrounds can come together to enjoy themselves for awhile.

We want to see more shows, and hopefully book some as well, but none of that will be possible as venues continue to shut down. Support local music and the venues that are a part of our nations cultural fabric.

We’ve never put our hand out for help before, but we’ve also never had our business taken from us either.

Congrats to pie shop on the win! Stoked to be putting some more shows together here soon!

Still can’t believe it. We opened our intimate second floor club in the summer of 2018. We were really just starting to gain momentum when Covid stopped us in our tracks. This project has truly been a labor of love and turning off the lights has been heartbreaking. Hearing that we won this local award means more than just the award, as it is a glimmer of light in a dark time for live music in general. We are incredibly humbled by the love and support and will do everything in our power to keep Pie Shop alive to host shows again when this thing is over. Thank you to all the incredible bands and artists who have graced our stage as well as their amazing and dedicated fans. Thank you to all who felt the love we poured into creating the venue and who voted for us, especially when as DC residents we are spoiled with all of our insanely awesome clubs and venues. Support your local venues folks...we need inviting places to throw concerts and these spots are the best places to make connections with others around you. The best shows are the ones with those closest to you, and club gigs make that possible ❤️

Some of D.C.'s legendary concert venues have huge mounting bills and no way to put on concerts during the pandemic. Will the government step in?
