Made by one of our teen students. A bookshelf full of tiny books and a sleeping cat on top… what more could you possibly need? 🐱📚 I love watching our teens grow as artists. The confidence, creativity, and attention to detail that develops over time is pretty special to witness. There comes a point where they stop looking to the instructor for every answer and start making work that feels completely their own. This little piece made me smile the moment I saw it. ❤️

Custom orders are my favorite part of pottery sometimes… not just making the piece, but hearing the story behind why someone is ordering it in the first place. These mugs are for a group of breast cancer surgery nurses as a thank you, and I’ve been putting a little extra care, a little extra heart, and definitely a lot of PINK into this batch.

I saw beautiful water, purchased some exquisite painting prints, found a few judgmental cats, wandered tiny stone streets, and of course… somehow ran into beautiful ancient pottery again. I swear it keeps finding me everywhere I go.

Visited the incredible Tvrdalj Castle yesterday, a 500 year old stone retreat built by a POET Petar Hektorović, and of course… I found pottery again :) It’s really becoming impossible for me to travel anywhere now without spotting beautiful vessels, textures, patterns, and little details that make me immediately think about clay and my next project. The whole place felt quiet, thoughtful, ancient, and inspiring all at once. I swear pottery keeps finding me wherever I go! Did I mention Stari Grad on Hvar where this architectural gem resides was built 350 years BC…yeah…it’s only 2366 years old town…🤪😳😃🤯
