A Little Piece of Heaven

This poem is about finding peace in nature and feeling the sensation of God's love.

Lost Piece 🧩

This poem reflects on a person who is trying to find his way. He feels like he is lost and alone.
He wants to fly like the butterfly, so he will be free and finally find himself.

Father Time and Mother Nature Get Grounded

So I heard about a fireball — or maybe an asteroid — streaking across the sky last night. Some say it was a meteorite. But to me, it felt like a message straight from the hand of God.

He has finally had enough of Father Time and Mother Nature’s shenanigans. He told them to straighten up and start treating His children right. No more snowstorms dumping a foot or two of snow. No more bitter cold temperatures. And absolutely no more surprise winter tantrums.

He wants their mess cleaned up by Friday — the first day of Spring.

He even warned them that if they can’t get along, He’ll retire them both and let the younger generation take over. Imagine the look on their faces when that note landed on their doorstep. I mean… what are they going to do, tell the Big Guy no?

Zoom… the temperature plunged.

Yesterday was an 86‑degree slice of sunshine — warm, bright, and full of promise. Today? A cold, drabby 36 degrees. The shift hit my spirit hard. The fur babies and I had been happy‑go‑lucky, soaking in the soft breeze drifting through the patio door.

But let’s be realistic… we never should’ve had an 86‑degree day this early in the season. Spring only arrived last Friday, March 20, 2026. Summer temperatures don’t belong here yet. Still, after the wild winter we just survived, nothing about this year feels normal.

When Spring Plays Tricks on Me

Tricks and teasers
Tantalize my senses,
Buds push through the soil
Warm air circulates like an ocean breeze.

Oh! How I want to believe.

Bolts of Light
Streak through a darkened sky
Gusty Winds
Have me asking why.

Thunder roars
I hear the click of my heater kick on,
It’s time to shut the doors.

White ice covers the ground
Followed by pouring tears,
Angels comfort the devastated,
A cold front settles in.

Cats Don’t Complicate Love — People Do

When Little fur balls curl up next to you,
Sending vibes of unconditional friendship
With their paws kneading the bed,
Letting you know there’s no place they’d rather be,
It gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Making you wish people could be as simple,
Putting their love on the line without any doubts,
Making you feel like the most important person in their world.

Feeling a love like no other,
With a torch that stays ignited
Throughout the test of time.

A poem that catches that tossing and turning into the wee hours of the morning, when one is fighting sleep like a toddler. Our mind is racing and sleep doesn't come.

Would Anyone Notice? (YouTube Video)

A reflective poem on life’s path, purpose, and the quiet hope that our presence makes a difference. A soft moment of wondering whether the marks we leave behind are seen, felt, or remembered.
