🎠 The stage is an actor’s playground, and in Carousel, it truly transforms before your eyes. 🤍

Designed by Wagon Wheel alumnus David Lepor, every piece of the set was created to move, shift, and come apart as the story unfolds. From scene to scene, the stage reimagines itself, creating new spaces and helping bring the world of Carousel to life in unexpected ways.

It’s just one of the many ways Wagon Wheel makes magic! ⭐️

🎠 The magic is in the details! 🎠

Take a closer look at the carousel horses featured in our revival of Carousel, designed by Wagon Wheel alumnus David Lepor. ⭐️

Here at Wagon Wheel, we do things the old-fashioned way. Rather than relying on elaborate technology, David’s ingenious design creates theatrical magic right before your eyes. Each horse is connected to a rotating Lazy Susan, powered by real human beings!

It’s a beautiful reminder that some of the most magical moments on stage are created through creativity, craftsmanship, and a little bit of imagination. 💭

⭐ Our summer company just gained even more talent! ⭐

We're thrilled to welcome Spencer Kearns to the Wagon Wheel family! Spencer will be joining the casts of Footloose and Anything Goes this summer, and we can't wait for you to see him light up our stage.

If you see Spencer around the theater or out in the community, be sure to give him a warm Warsaw welcome. 👋😊 We're excited to have him as part of our summer company!

Spencer is from San Diego, California, and is a rising third-year student at Penn State University, getting his BFA in Musical Theatre! This past summer, he had the opportunity to perform with Interlakes Summer Theatre, where one of his favorite roles was Arpad in She Loves Me, and had the privilege of training at the Jacob’s Pillow Musical Theatre Program. Regionally, he was most recently seen as Theo in North Coast Repertory’s production of Pippin. At Penn State, he performed in the ensemble of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Crazy For You, and The Morris and Essex Line.

One show opens, another one begins rehearsals! 🤯

While we celebrated an incredible Opening Night of Carousel last night, the cast of Footloose was up bright and early this morning, kicking off our first day of rehearsals at 9:00 a.m. sharp!

That's the magic of summer stock theatre. As one production takes the stage, the next is already hard at work behind the scenes. The summer season keeps moving, and we wouldn't have it any other way! 😉
