CALLING ALL ARTISTS!

Our parking lot needs a little bit of love and we want to do a PARKING LOT ART CONTEST to spruce it up a bit. For this post are seeing who would be interested. Come paint the stalls in our parking lot with your favorite movie poster, movie character, or movie scene!

Let us know if you are interested by filling our our "contact us" form here: https://www.northpointecinemas.com/contactus

More details to come if we can get a lot of people to sign up. But the basics would be as followed:

- $35 entrance fee (mostly to pay for paint but reduced rate if you bring your own paint)
- 3-4 weeks for you to paint your dedicated stall (come and go as you please)
- North Pointe will provide some primary colors of paint
- There would be 2 or 3 tiers (advanced, intermediate, just for fun) with prizes in each tier (free movie passes, free popcorn, free t-shirts, etc)
- Art show and prize ceremony in late October or Early November.

Let us know, if we get enough people we'll send out an official flyer and more details.

Come let your cinematic artistic flare out!

(please promote this post to as many people as you can and don't forget to sign up)

We watch movies to create memories. I hope you all get a chance to bring your kids and teenagers (and the kid inside you) to see Forgotten Island. Truly a movie for everyone.

The message is strongly reinforcing about what we're all about here at the theater: excellent characters, extremely fun time, high-stakes adventures, friendship and great meaning.

Frankly we weren't ready for it, but there was a post in the news about our new offering and we want to make sure people have a space here to express their concerns and talk about it.

We still haven't stocked the fridges yet but yesterday we were approved by the county board to start selling b**r. A lot of our customers request b**r and we hope those people are excited for the improvement in what we offer.

We are extremely conservative on how we apply the laws to making sure nothing is served to minors and we try to go above and beyond to make sure that no one is affected by potential rude and untoward behavior from fellow patrons who enjoy a drink with their movie.

We still hope to maintain the fun-for-all environment that we've been trying to promote and encourage. But please if you do have any concerns or comments feel free to express them here as well.

All we want is for North Pointe to be the best community experience possible for as many people as would like to come experience the magic of movies, so please let us know what you think, we're all ears (or eyes I guess now that everything is all digital).
.. And yes we still are working to get carpet soon. Thank you for your patience!

The Odyssey is playing its last show at 11:05; sad to see it go, hopefully the roughly 3,000 folks that came to see it enjoyed it for the amazing film it was. Keep 'em coming Hollywood!
