West Blount Corn Maze is looking for a CONCESSION STAND COOK for the month of October! 🌽🍔🍟

We’re looking for someone who is:

✅ Dependable — if you’re scheduled, we need you there!
✅ Self-motivated and able to stay busy without constant direction
✅ Comfortable working in a fast-paced concession stand
✅ Experience with a gas fryer is preferred

📅 When?
Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays throughout October, with an occasional Friday daytime shift.

This is a great short-term opportunity for someone who wants to make some extra money before Christmas without committing to a year-round job! 🎁💵

Last year we turned the West Blount Corn Maze into a HAUNTED MAZE for TWO special nights… 😱🌽

But here’s the question…

DO WE BRING THE HAUNTED MAZE BACK FOR 2026?! 👀

We’re working on our October plans, and we want to hear from YOU before we decide!

🌽 CALLING ALL VENDORS — MARKET AT THE MAZE! 🌽

The response to our Third Annual Market at the Maze has been incredible, and we’re still looking for more vendors to join us! 🍂

We currently have:

🛍️ 44 vendors registered for October 10
🛍️ 36 vendors registered for October 24

And the good news is… we still have PLENTY of outdoor vendor space available!

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE:
Our indoor vendor spaces are FULL, and our food, drink & baked goods categories are also FULL.

We are currently looking for OUTDOOR vendors offering things like handmade goods, crafts, boutique items, home décor, jewelry, woodworking, farm products, gifts, seasonal items and other unique merchandise.

Our goal is 50+ vendors at EACH Market at the Maze, and we would love to have YOU join us!

🍁 MARKET AT THE MAZE is a special event held on two Saturdays during our October season:

📅 October 10 & October 24, 2026
⏰ 10 AM–4 PM

Well… this may be the most redneck thing we’ve done yet. 😂🌽

When you need to move an entire carport across the property, apparently you don’t take it apart…

You build a frame around the tractor, hook everything together and MOVE THE WHOLE DANG THING. 🤦‍♀️😂

And this old carport is about to get a BIG makeover. We’re removing the metal sides, wrapping it in wood to match our barn, and turning it into our NEW CORN CRIB! 🌽🌽🌽

Around here, we don’t always do things the conventional way…

but we get ’em done. 😂

Stay tuned because I cannot WAIT for you to see the finished product!

We got a good soaking here in Blount County this afternoon, and our West Blount Corn Maze is soaking up every drop.

Since we’re talking weather, we thought we’d give you a bird’s-eye view of what we’ve been growing this summer! 🚁🌽

🇺🇸 See that giant 250 in the cornfield? We’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday in a BIG way this fall!

So James, the rain request has officially been filled. ✅🌧️
Now we’ll take some sunshine to help this corn GROW! ☀️🌽😂

We’re working on something NEW at West Blount Corn Maze this fall, and we need your recommendations! 🎃🌽

We’re looking for local small businesses/makers who may be interested in supplying products for our farm store.

We are specifically looking for:

🍓 Strawberry Jam
🍑 Peach Preserves
🍎 Apple Butter
🌶️ Pepper Jelly
🧼 Goat Milk Soap & Fall-Scented Soaps
🕯️ Apple, Pumpkin & Farmhouse/Fall-Scented Candles
🍁 Fall arts and crafts

We already have our local honey 🍯 and salsa 🍅 covered, so right now we’re concentrating on the items above.

We would LOVE to feature products made by people right here in our area and support other local small businesses! ❤️
