I will be bringing these “Memory Pieces” with me to the Saint Louis Art Fair. These pieces are special, and I feel the connection to the past when I create a new one. I’ve been searching vintage/antique stores to find beautiful glass pieces that no longer serve a purpose and give them a new life…to live on forever in a painting. These measure 17”x18” with the frame. I’m excited to be bringing them with me this weekend. “I Found My Thrill on Blueberry Hill, You Make me Blush and You’re My Main Squeeze” will be there to greet you as you visit my booth. ❤️🤗

A couple exciting things that have happened lately.

I received a first place ribbon in the 2-D category at the Queeny Park Art Fair over the weekend. I feel so honored any time I win an award, it’s truly humbling with the amount of great artwork out there. The artists that participate are very supportive of one another and you can’t ask for more than that. ❤️

I was also interviewed by St. Louis Homes and Lifestyles magazine for their September edition. It’s a little surreal seeing my photos in a magazine. I’m feeling very grateful.😊

Here’s a link for the online article. Check out the whole magazine if you have time, it has some stunning home inspiration ideas.

Sorry for the silence over the last year. I honestly thought I would be back to teaching on a smaller scale at this point, but it has been a long year of transitions. I have been navigating being an independent artist and it’s been a wild ride. The art fair world is very competitive, but I have been lucky enough to get juried into some fantastic shows. See my spring schedule below.

I will possibly be pushing into one or two places to teach some classes but they will be very limited. I will post those classes here, but will mainly use this page for my own art moving forward. So feel free to unfollow if you’re not interested, just giving you a heads up. I miss my students and think about them often, and who knows…I may return to it in the future. Thank you to everyone that supported my classes over the years, I have such fond memories.
