Fauquier Community Theatre seeks to enrich and entertain a range of audiences through a variety of live theatre productions that enhance the cultural life of the community. The Theatre strives to offer a range of challenging creative opportunities that inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in theatre. FCT seeks to cultivate an appreciation of the performing arts in our communit

y by offering high quality performances, by educating through experience, by participating in community activities, and by cooperation with other performing arts groups. FCT is a non-profit organization which is governed by a board of directors made up of volunteers. Some come from the artistic side of theater; others offer their business and administrative knowledge to keep the theatre healthy. All of FCT’s actors, musicians, back stage and behind-the-scenes personnel are volunteers as well.

From the spires of St. Petersburg to the lights of Paris, the journey of a lifetime begins this fall. Fauquier Community Theatre is proud to present our Season 49 opener, Anastasia: The Musical!

Anastasia: The Musical will run Fridays and weekends from September 18, 2026, to October 4, 2026. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 pm, and Sunday matinees are at 2 pm. All performances are at Vint Hill Theater on the Green, located at 4225 Aiken Drive, Warrenton, VA. Tickets ($18 – $24) are reserved seating and available at www.FauquierTheatre.org

Show Synopsis:

Her past is a mystery. Her future is an adventure. Anastasia: The Musical is the spectacular new musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be.

From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, creators of such Broadway classics as Ragtime and Once On This Island, this dazzling show transports its audience from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920s, as a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past.

Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.

Show Synopsis:

Humorist Jean Shepherd's memoir of growing up in the midwest in the 1940s follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher and even Santa Claus himself at Higbee's Department Store. The consistent response: "You'll shoot your eye out!" All the elements from the beloved motion picture are here, including the family's temperamental exploding furnace; Scut Farkas, the school bully; the boys' experiment with a wet tongue on a cold lamppost; the Little Orphan Annie decoder pin; Ralphie's father winning a lamp shaped like a woman's leg in a net stocking; Ralphie's fantasy scenarios and more.

A lofty round of applause for FCT’s 2026 Lofty Award winners and nominees!

Congratulations to our winners, our nominees, and every cast member, crew member, designer, director, musician, volunteer, and production-team member who helped bring Dirty Work at the Crossroads, Bright Star, Calendar Girls, Tales of the Artisan, and White Christmas to life.

We also made a little Lofty history: Jacqueline Cooksey earned the highest recorded featured-dancer score in Lofty history!

Fauquier Community Theatre is pleased to share our 2025–2026 Annual Report at the Annual Meeting this evening, highlighting a year of artistic programming, community engagement, youth education, organizational investment, and responsible financial stewardship.

This year’s work was made possible through the combined support of our volunteers, audiences, members, individual donors, community partners, and grant funders. Their investment helps FCT provide accessible live theatre and educational opportunities while strengthening the organization for the future.

The report provides an overview of our programming, financial position, community impact, and the continued investments we are making in our facilities, operations, and long-term sustainability.

First, THANK YOU for supporting Fauquier Community Theatre and our Dressing Room Project!

Our tumblers are here and will be available for pickup TONIGHT the Lofty Awards TODAY, Sunday, August 16.

Unfortunately, Custom Ink’s final order list was incomplete and only shows 9 orders, so we want to make sure no one gets missed.

If you ordered a tumbler, please message us HERE and let us know:

- That you placed an order
- Whether you’ll be picking it up at the Lofty’s or Anastasia performance

Important payment update: Custom Ink canceled/refunded the original tumbler charge to your credit card. Any additional donation you made was still honored, and those donations are being sent directly to FCT.
