Fauquier Community Theatre seeks to enrich and entertain a range of audiences through a variety of live theatre productions that enhance the cultural life of the community. The Theatre strives to offer a range of challenging creative opportunities that inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in theatre. FCT seeks to cultivate an appreciation of the performing arts in our communit

y by offering high quality performances, by educating through experience, by participating in community activities, and by cooperation with other performing arts groups. FCT is a non-profit organization which is governed by a board of directors made up of volunteers. Some come from the artistic side of theater; others offer their business and administrative knowledge to keep the theatre healthy. All of FCT’s actors, musicians, back stage and behind-the-scenes personnel are volunteers as well.

Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Featuring memorable songs such as “Just Keep Swimming,” “Fish Are Friends Not Food,” and “Go With the Flow,” Finding Nemo JR. brings a vibrant underwater world to life on stage in a story full of family, friendship, and adventure. Fauquier Community Theatre's production of Disney's Finding Nemo JR is directed by Jack Tessier, and by special arrangement with Music Theatre International. All actors in the show are 18 years old and younger.

A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway ensemble audition. Exploring the inner lives and poignant ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another, including “What I Did for Love,” “One,” “I Can Do That,” “At the Ballet,” “The Music and the Mirror” and “I Hope I Get It.” A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance and compellingly authentic drama, the show was instantly recognized as a classic.

Reserve your tickets! Experience the joy of live theater! A Chorus Line: Teen Edition is a full-length version of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, adapted for performance by high school students with family audiences.

A Chorus Line premiered off-Broadway at The Public Theater on April 15, 1975. The show soon transferred to Broadway, opening at the Shubert Theatre on July 25, 1975. The original production ran for 6,137 performances, becoming the longest-running show in Broadway history on September 29, 1983.
