The A1 Thank-You sets are officially live.

No fluff. Just real cards for real moments.

Each set includes 10 cards and envelopes, blank inside so you can say it your way.

We built these because gratitude deserves more than a text message, especially for the Veterans and first responders who serve our communities every day.

Everyone knows someone who has served. Everyone has a moment where a quick, hand written note matters more.

If you want to support a small business with a purpose behind it, this is a simple way to do it. Pick up a set and keep them ready.

Here is what the 'thank-you' box sets will look like once up on the website. Planning to have several skus up for sale this weekend. I am still working on a hangtab printed solution for retail.

The primary holdup on our big-box retail push is in the Intellectual Property Rights. In the meantime, we are working on the secondary and tertiary plans in the event we recieve Final Rejection.

My carpenter skills are improving. Think I do better with Lincoln Logs!

Rebuilt the wood work table (39"×50").
Forgot this lightbox is 41"×41"×41"

What to do next??? 🤔🤭🤣
A) put together the smaller lightbox and swap'em out
B) put an extension on the front of the table and call it a day
C) build a new workbench that will accommodate both lightboxes

I am leaning towards option "C" and making this a printer table.

Gonna sleep on it.

Bootstrapping ain't easy!
Clean desk Clear mind.

2026 is shaping up to be a make or break year!
We have our goals defined and sleeves rolled-up and digging deeper to put in the necessary work!

Some of the cool things we have lined up:
- Sponsoring local Veterans breakfast for our focus group
- Forming and funding a team to clean and remediate Veterans headstones in cemeteries in Missouri and beyond
- Developing a line of "Thank-You" style cards
- Double our card inventory
- Start selling an Amazon...and so much more.

Bootstrapping: A Day In The Life 🤣

Spent the day working alongside our web developer tightening up a few important pieces of the site. The improvements are already making a difference.

We upgraded the checkout experience from a basic, standalone page to one that fully mirrors the rest of the site, complete with header and footer navigation. That means you can continue browsing and shopping without feeling like you’ve hit a dead end.

We also added a new cart experience. When you click the cart icon in the top right and a cart box opens instantly, allowing you to adjust quantities, close it out, or head straight to checkout. All without leaving the page! Faster, cleaner, and much more intuitive.

On top of that, we fixed a major payment processor issue and refreshed the blog layout to make it easier to read and cleaner overall.

We also ran a full site health check, and the results were encouraging:
• Best Practices and SEO both scored 100 (mobile & desktop)
• Accessibility scored 95 mobile / 94 desktop
• Performance (load times, contentful paint, speed index) still has room to improve. I’m currently converting all JPGs to WebP images to help boost load speed and overall performance

Overall, the site is really getting dialed in. Today was all about improving the user experience, and I’m excited about where things are headed!!!

If you haven’t visited the site in a bit, now’s a great time to take another look and let me know what you think.

While you are there, grab the card featured in this post for your beloved! ...and to say thank you, please use code: THANKYOU50

Overwatch Greeting Card Co. Delivers 1,941 Christmas Cards to Veterans Across Missouri

Missouri — Overwatch Greeting Card Company announced the successful completion of its 4th Annual Christmas Cards for Veterans program, delivering 1,941 hand-signed Christmas cards to Veterans across the state of Missouri.

This year’s effort focused on deeper in-state impact, with expanded deliveries to Veterans Affairs facilities from St. Louis and Mexico, Missouri, as well as a significant increase in outreach to assisted living and memory care communities that serve Veterans. While fewer cards were shipped out of state, the program intentionally concentrated resources where personal delivery and connection could be maximized.

Nine volunteers dedicated their time to hand-signing and personally delivering each card, ensuring that every message carried genuine appreciation and care. All 1,941 cards were fully donated by Overwatch Greeting Card Company as part of its ongoing mission to honor service, sacrifice, and family.

“Every card represents more than paper and ink,” said Lloyd Wideman, founder of Overwatch Greeting Card Company. “It’s a reminder to our Veterans that they are seen, remembered, and appreciated, especially during the holidays, when loneliness can be felt most deeply.”

The Christmas Cards for Veterans program has grown steadily each year:

Year One: 25 cards delivered
Year Two: Just over 100 cards
Year Three: 1,100 cards
Year Four: 1,941 cards delivered

The program’s growth reflects continued commitment to reaching Veterans where they live and receive care.

Overwatch Greeting Card Company extends heartfelt thanks to the volunteers, facilities, and community partners who made this year’s effort possible. Their time, compassion, and willingness to help deliver messages of gratitude made a meaningful difference for nearly two thousand Veterans this Christmas season.

“Our hope is simple,” Wideman added. “That every Veteran who received a card felt remembered, and that others feel inspired to find their own way to say thank you with a card from the Overwatch Greeting Card Co.”

Dropped off 400 signed Christmas Cards at the Veterans Home in North STL today. They have this cool M60A3 parked out front. (One of my all-time favorite tanks)

With a heart full of joy, couldn't help but to feel "tank-ful" for the friends and family I have. There are so many folks who've inspired me, taught me, lifted, laughed and cried with me.

Tanks for making 2025 an amazing year!
