When Messi arrives in KC, you know it's time for Summer of Soccer! Join us and Visit Warrensburg for our watch party next Friday night, June 12th starting at 6:30!

Nassif Kiddie Pool Update

The kiddie pool remains closed while staff and our pool maintenance contractor continue working to diagnose and repair an issue with the filtration system.

At this time, we do not anticipate the kiddie pool reopening this weekend. We are hopeful repairs can be completed as early as next week.

The lap pool, river pool, diving board, and waterslide remain open and available for guests at the Nassif Aquatic Center.

For families with younger children, the indoor kiddie pool and children's play area at the Warrensburg Community Center will be open as an alternative option from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Community Reminder – Park Trail Cameras 📷🌳

As our parks become busier during the summer season, we often receive questions regarding trail cameras or devices seen throughout our parks. For reference, we have included a sample trail camera image with this post so community members know what these devices may look like.

Warrensburg Parks & Recreation periodically utilizes trail cameras for a variety of operational purposes including monitoring wildlife activity, evaluating environmental conditions, identifying maintenance concerns, and assisting with vandalism investigations or damage to park facilities when necessary. These cameras are not installed to monitor playground use or track visitors’ day-to-day activities.

Camera placement is based on operational needs, and while a camera may appear to be pointed toward a specific area, it is often capturing a broader field of view.

🚔 As always, if you notice suspicious activity within our parks, please contact the Warrensburg Police Department or the Warrensburg Parks & Recreation Office.
